FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

So you’re wondering how social media management works? I created this FAQ specifically to answer some of the most common questions I hear from prospective clients. These FAQs should clear up most of the confusion around how social media management works.

1. How does Social Media Management work?

You know you need to use social media to market your business. You know it takes time to write posts, create graphics, create a content strategy, sync the strategy with your products and services, answer questions and comments, etc. You have tried to post consistently, but it takes too much time. You realize social media is a full-time job.

You hire me. To do all the above. I write posts, create graphics, create a content strategy, sync the strategy to include the products and services you want to sell, answer questions and comments, posting consistently on your desired platform. Because social media is my job. You hire me so you can get back to running your business. This is how Social Media Management works when you hire Kimberly with Keep Kimberly Posted Marketing Services.

2. As a Social Media Manager, are you posting for me?

Yes. Social Media Management is a ghost service. I am posting on your social media profiles, under your handles, as YOU. The only way someone knows it is me posting and not you is if you tell them.

3. What platforms do you manage?

Currently, Facebook business page and Instagram for any brand, also groups. In select cases, LinkedIn can also be managed.  on a case-by-case basis, the reason being that LinkedIn is exclusively used as a professional platform, and is used in a different capacity that, Facebook or Instagram.

4. I don’t have time to use social media. Do I still have to login and post?

Nope. Clients, rarely, if ever, go in and post once they become a client. Social Media Management services are designed so that I take over your social media accounts, and you can get back to doing what you do best, running your business.

5. If I have to create the content I’m doing all the work. What’s the point of paying you, what will you do?

As a client, you do not create content. All of the content is created for you. If you have existing content that you like and has worked for you, we can integrate your content into your posting schedule. I create a social media strategy, inclusive of crafting content to promote your brand, products and services, text and visual content.

6. How often will you post on social media?

There are different packages available, each with a different minimum posting schedule. The reason being, some people just need their profiles to look active, and some people want to strategically increase their following and sell some stuff. The level of posting is different for each objective.

7. How will I know if what you are doing is working?

You will know it is working by the objectives that you set, as part of your reasons for hiring me. For example, if you want to keep up a consistent presence on social media, you’ll be able to see your profiles look consistent.
